  • Tower Bridge: one of the icons of the city, it’s close to the Tower of London and lies over river Thames. Next there is a park where people lay on the sun or go for picnics.
  • Big Ben: this clock it’s to London like Tour Eiffel for Paris. Located in Westminster, close to the Parliament and Westminster Abbey, it’s the place where Londoners reunite for celebrating New Year.
  • Punk: in King’s Road there was Seditionaries, where in the late 70s, Malcolm McLaren and designer Vivien Westwood helped developing the style of a protest movement called punk. Sex Pistols were the more notorious band and you can still find their legacy in Piccadilly Circus or in Camden Town.
  • Music scene: this is the perfect place if you are in a band or are a music lover. There are plenty of venues to play live, and Camden Town may be the zone where you can find the most, whatever the style.
  • Union Jack: Britons have a talent for merchandising and their flag has become one of their most famous identity cards. You can find everywhere memories with it, from mugs to thongs.

Welcome to my new blog, where I'll always upload articles about visiting a city of Europe. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

The blog is open to feedback, so I'm willing to recibe your comments, anecdotes and experiences.

Cheers
